I quite like the Axim, but for me, it's a little too big - so I'm leery of adding a case that adds even more bulk. I've requested a review unit from Sena Cases (they have this nice looking blue/black covered case), so we'll see what they say. They have a discount for pre-ordering the Axim case if you just can't wait for my review! :D

about the ultra belt clip which is optional, you mean we have to spend extra for the belt clip?

Jason,

I've got a similar issue with my 3955. I have a case that I like, but its wearing out, and its also discontinued. I am doing a uh-hem...case study, on cases that may be a good replacement for it on pocketnow.com in my Apples and Oranges column.

You can see the first installment here:

Kind Regards,

Christopher Spera

Can someone verify that the pockets protect the screen from any damaging contact with pocket contents?

Does it come with a shoulder strap?

Looks like a nice case. Axim cases are finally starting to show up. I've been looking for a slip case for my Axim that has a fancy belt clip and a magnetic or snapable flap. I hate velcro :bad-words:

I've found some slip cases that would fit the Axim but I've yet to find one that fits all of my needs. Either it has a crappy belt clip and a magnetic flap or a good belt clip and a velcro flap. My luck I'll finally find one I like, but it will end up costing $100

Anyways, got off topic. I may pick up one of these if I can't find a flip case I like. If you get too many Axim cases to review and need someone to help try them out, let me know :D

I reviewed a couple of these for my CLIE T615C and NX70 and found them to be very nice cases. The leather is well stitched and attractive. The cases are surprisingly very light and reasonably priced for a leather case. The first version of the CLIE cases with the MS slot were designed so that the MS could be pushed against the display. The newer version for the NX70 is designed to prevent this issue. I haven't received the Dell one they are sending my for my Pocket PC Life review, but imagine it will be the latest design since they won't be out until February 25th and have received feedback from previous case owners.

Jason, Ramsey at Sena cases is very responsive to review requests so I am sure he will accommodate your request.

Looks nice. Wish I would have seen this one before I ordered from E&B... well I guess I can always ebay the E&B if I don't like it. The snap closure and storying CF cards may be the deciding factor for me....
