UPS is scheduled to deliver mine and my dad's Axims sometime today. They usually show up in my 'hood around 4 or 5:00. I am so excited that I am going to have to leave work early and jump in front of the UPS truck when he comes down the road. :lol: :D

It's going to be really hard to wait for that thing to charge up. I have my AvantGo ready to roll and my calendar from my Palm waiting to beam.

I ordered:

Axim
wireless card
extra sync cable
screen protectors


Dad:
same with Dell leather case and spare memory card.



My dad has been bugging me for the last week and a half. "When are they coming in", "Have you called Dell again?", "Did you get Next day air?"

When did you order it and what was the "estimated shipping date."? Just wondering if mine will be here before FEB 10 (estimated shipping date). I too got First Day Air and can't wait for it.

Hopefully, yours will be in before you know it. Trust me, you won't be able to put it down when it does. You might want to take the next day off of work.

congrats on the new Axim, I ordered mine on the 18th, so theoretically it is suppose to be here 5 days later than yours, since we had the same shipping etc.

They are spreading like wildfire. I've got one, now another guy at my office has one and another has his on order.

Dell is going to take over. I've never seen grown men (myself included) get so excited about a new gadget as we have with this Axim - and we're a bunch of tech geeks already!

There is only one other person I know that has here at MTU, one person I know has an iPaq, but everyone else has a Palm OS device of one type or another. I like to 'wow' people by showing full-screen clips of Mr. T theater and Uncle Jamima's Pure Mash Liquor in Pocket Divx, the Palms can't do that (yet).
