Please!!
I just bought an Linksys Wireless Access Point Router (BEFW11S4 v2), and I can't have internet on my ipaq.. can someone tell me how to do it?
I have Internet on my Desktop PC and I can see on the DHCP Clients Table the same ip that i see on the Ipaq.
That means, that i can see some IP on the Ipaq, also the "Access Point ID", the "Network Type", the "Channel" (6), the "Transmit Rate" and the "MAC address".
I also have 100% signal strenght.

But, i can see any internet on my ipaq.

Should i install something?
Should I use fixed ip?

Also, the Green Light (on the left top side of the ipaq) is constantly flashing.

So, any thoughts?

ok, i'm stupid.
i had set that my network card conect me to "Work"!
That was the problem... I have to put: my network card conect me to "Internet"!

BTW, does the green light should flash the hole time? or should be still?

In order for ActiveStink to work for me via Wi-Fi, I have to set all my connections to "Work." Within the Work profile on the Proxy Settings tab, is a checkbox that says "This network connects to the Internet." Checking that box allows me to get on the 'net through my router and still use ActiveSync.

Yes, the blinking green LED is normal. It blinks orange when you are not associated with a wireless network and blinks green when you have a connection. Personally, I would prefer that it not blink, but nobody asked me. At least it's not a big bright LED like the 3800/3900 series had. :) I find those to be incredibly distracting.

Oh, and you're not stupid. :) Just about everyone has had some problem with Connection Manager at some point.

But, i can't see my network. I mean, my others computer shared folders... why? Any idea?

The built-in File Explorer has this capability. Open File Explorer on the PocketPC and tap the right-most small icon at the bottom, ie. the one that looks like a hand holding trash can. Note that you can only cut-n-paste/copy files between the desktop and PPC.

Look at Netuse (FREE), Netrunner (FREE) or Resco File Explorer ($$$) if you need to open files across the LAN from your PPC. Personally, I use Netuse on my 3835 and a D-Link DCF-650W wireless card...
