It says 'POCKET PC CAMERA DELL ONLY" meaning????

My guess is that the product description is lame. It's a camera for your PC that could fit in your pocket.

I don't even know why it's Dell only either. It should work on all PCs. I've seen this camera in ad's before - it's like a webcam / digital camera.

It most probably won't work on your PPC. Just check out the "read more" link - it requires Windows 98 / Me and USB.

Is there a pocket pc camera that is compatable for the Dell AXIM? I know they have one for the Compaq, but is their one for the Dell AXIM, or is their a program, or something that works like a camera for the Dell AXIM?

there's a pretty recent thread about a Pretec 1.3MP camera that will work in your CF slot - that should work with your Axim.

Any of the Compact Flash cameras should work, I'd think. You won't get the features or resolution of a normal digital camera, of course.

Well, just to be safe, there is an HP model for the Jornada series that I have read will only work with the Jornada PPCs.

On the Pretec website there is a higher resolution model listed (2.0MP I think), but when I emailed them about it they said there isn't really a planned release date for it.

I guess the big bonus here is size and using a big screen to preview. Downside is I don't really want to carry something that small in my pocket and you get no flash.

Give me a SD card digi cam with flash and I'll probably be happier with it.
