Long wait time on the Axim?

Maybe the new batch of Axims (the back ordered ones that we are waiting for right now) are some kind of a new revision with some updated stuff like patches or bug fixes etc... What do you think? What is really going on with this long waiting time?
BTW is anyone getting their Axims before Feb 10 and if you are that means that Dell just can't keep up with the demand. But I thought I read a post here a while back about someone saying that they contacted Dell and they are not shipping ANY Axims before a certain time. Am I correct on this or am I just daydreaming?

I ordered two Axes, a basic on 1-14 and an advanced on 1-20. Yesterday, Dell guessed that both may be shipped by 1-31.

But seriously I hope mine is here before Feb 10, and BTW do you know what happens if there is no one home to sign when it arrives?

I ordered an advanced Axim on 1/17 and on Wedneday received the email stating it would be shipped on 2/10. I haven't spoken to Dell personally, though. I have read where they are shipping them sooner than the listed ship dates.

I ordered mine on 1/1/2003 and was told it would arrive on 2/10. But I received notice that it has been shipped as of 1/22 and should be at my door on 1/28 - 1/30. Still don't have a tracking number though....
