Am thinking about buying an ibook. Can anyone out there tell me how a PPC does with Mac?

(I did a search, but couldn't find anything directly related. Sorry if this is a done-to-death question.)

Thanks! Don't know why my search didn't pick that one up...

Is there anyone who can give their personal experience using a PPC and a Mac?

If you read my post at the linked forum thread about using Virtual PC for PPC, what else do you want to know?

I'd like to know if anyone has used any of the other after-market solutions, and how well they have worked (or not worked.)

Well your other option(s) is simple: PocketMac (suggest you visit users forums for comments) and yet to be released MissingSync's PPC version. Both of those will offer limited capabilities, especially loading PPC format applications, ROM updates, etc. My suggestion is, once again, simply VPC for full functionality. There's no other options than those three.

Thanks. Will further research based on your suggestions.
