Nevo Help

I have a new 5455 and have downloaded the Nevo patch, then downloaded the Echostar comands from Nevo. I still cannot get it to work. Now I know others have Dish Network and Nevo, and I just wondered if anyone else got this to work since Nevo doesn't seem to be any help.

I went through all 34 of thier codes for Dish Networks Echo star box (on my 3 different models) and none of them worked....has anyone got it to work?

Have you tried lining up the remote with the Ipaq and using the learn function?

I guess I could pick one of the Echostar choices that don't work (so that it would have the right buttons) and go through each and every aplication. I was hoping it would be easier...but at least that is an idea.

Have you tried any of the JVC codes? I don't recall the model # of my reciever, but one of the JVC codes did the trick for me.
Dish set top boxes are made by several different manufacturers, you may have to try them all.

You should try using the Code 1 for Dish Network (Code 1 for Echostar devices). the problem is the direction of the IR signal. Nevo.com says that you should try playing around with "how you position your ipaq towards the receiver). not a matter of distance, but alignment.
