I own an iPaq 3975 but those are definitely not cheap. So check out the Dell Axims http://www.dell.com/us/en/gen/topics/segtopic_axim.htm. I hear they are very good.

I got it from totalpda.co.uk - a growing company well worth checking out

It all depends on what kind of $$$ you are thinking of spending, but I think the Dell Axim currently provides the best value, dollar for dollar.

You might want to check this recent post regarding Dell on-line coupons and see if any are still good:

What about the HP 1910 series?

The 1910 iPaq won't work because it costs more than $250 ($284 shipped on Amazon). $250 the max he wanted to spend.

You can get a Toshiba e310 for just barely over $200.

Check it out here:

The e310 is a good little device. I've had one since they first come out, and it's really worked great.

Good luck!

kewlerthanu182 - keep in mind that most likely, you will be getting a memory card for these devices. If you want a memory card with a substantial amount of storage, you will probably need $50 or more.

You'll want a memory card if you get into gaming, music, videos, or any combination of those.

Why don't you check the Buy & Sell section of PPCT. Some people sell brand new PDAs that they bought but didn't need, didn't want, etc. for much less than retail. I don't know how you feel about a used PPC but that could be an option.

I offered my unneeded brand new unused 300 mhz Dell, but he didn't want it.
