Sorry folks, new to all this so I need some help :D .

I have a 'hand me down' iPAQ 3630.

I use it for having a dairy and email etc. with me on the move, very nice.

Now, I would also very much like to use this as an input device for my PC.
i.e. I would like to use the 'draw on the screen' handwriting facility to annotate applications running on my PC, the intention being that when sharing applications with friends and colleagues remotely, I can draw on charts, images etc. as a communication aid.

Is this possible ?

I've never heard of such a possibilty.

I don't think it's possible...

Hmm, there are various kinds of remote control softwares available for the Pocket PC that might do what you want. I'd try a Google search. I also think we have a review for one coming up this week...

Take a look at the Pebbles Project http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~pebbles/index.html
Scribble in particular I think.
