I can't instant message you; I don't use instant messaging. I'm afraid you won't see this if you don't check back here.

The best program seems to be Plog 2.0 from GXSoftware, http://www.graphxsoftware.com/DesktopDefault.aspx. Download and install version 2.06 and then the version 2.07 upgrade. They're available from the bottom of the home page.

The program is a little slow running but does a decent job.

I know somebody who would be interested in this, but I have a question. Does Plog use the real Weight Watchers system?

Steve

P.S. Your link is broken. The period at the end messed things up. Here is a working link to GX Software Solutions (http://www.graphxsoftware.com).

In the future, I suggest testing your URLs to make sure they work (I do). Instead of Submit, choose Preview, then click on the link to ensure it works. If it does, click Submit, otherwise fix the link.

PLOG is configurable by the user in such a way that if the WW system is what you are using, it will be beneficial. There are no programs that use the WW system (AFAIK) because WW will not allow it. They are diligent in protecting their Intellectual property. Developers of such software have been served cease and desist orders.

That sounds right, I guess. As long as the points are configurable, I guess that wiould do OK, but I wonder what kind of points system they use then.

If it's some other popular diet, I'd think they'd run into the intellectual property issue there, too, unless they got a license. If it's something they developed, I'wonder how well tested that system is.
