Does anyone know how to setup Siemens S55 as a modem to
connect to T-Mobile's GPRS in US using iPAQ H5455? I
used to use T68i with my H5455 and it was easy to set it
up.

Siemens instructions says I need to add extra strings in
the Dial-up connection but PPC2K2 does not allow more
than 40 characters and the string is
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet2.voicestream.com". More than
40 Characters. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Siemens USA is not willing to help me coz this phone is
not available in the US. As matter of fact they don't
even want to talk to me (poor customer service).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

I would goto www.PPCW.net. They have a bunch of "how tos " to get your connection going. There are many good articles that show how to get GPRS connection. Maybe the answer is there.

That site is devoted to wireless. Look at the How-to section.

If you can't find a solution, I would call t-mobile and see if they shorter APN name. Make them aware of the 40 character limit & what you are trying to do. :D
