CANNES, France--Microsoft announced on Saturday new digital rights software aimed at helping music labels control unauthorized copying of CDs, one of the biggest thorns in the ailing industry's side.

Anyone want to start taking bets on how long before this is cracked? I'm guessing 3 months after the first CD hits the street. Hmmm its MS tech....which will most _likely_ mean that it will only work on Microsoft OS's which in turn will make people even more ravenous to crack it. Better make the 2 months.
