Off hand, does anyone know what file to edit to get Pocket Word to open text files with a size 12 font rather than 10?

Try WordCommands -- it is a free addon for Pocket Word.

In your case, open your document and save it in 12pt font. Then anytime after that, it will open with size 12 instead of 10.
The addon also allows you to format text to Bold, Italic, etc. (Pocket Word doesn't allow you to do that as easily), you can also find & replace, and insert date using only CTRL key combinations.

I've been opening .txt files, selectall and saving them as size 12 .rtf files. I just want Word to do it as I open the documents. 'Wordcommands' just isn't what I'm looking for.
I'm looking to change how pocketword behaves when it opens the files in the first place.

That's an interesting one - Does it mean that PWord has the default template in fixed memory? Perhaps a registry issue if so?
