It can automatically switch between different icon configuations depending on the time of day. For example, during the weekend or outside office hours, leisure-related icons can be displayed, while during office hours, work-related ones show up. Not a fan of today-screen launchers... would rather just see a bit of info and the theme, but I do like the idea of a day/time based icon set. Nice thinking.

I wonder if John could show us the smaller icons. Those on the screen shot are huge in my opinion 8O .

I agree, the icons take opp way too much space.

They look cool, but if I would have the same amount of icons as I have with Scott Seligman's Launcher, I would run out of space...

Yes, it looks nice but it won't fit all my softwares that I installed on my PPC on Today Screen. Plus the real estate screen on the PPC is small, I like to see the useful informations like: Tasks, Appointments, Birthday and others...I think nobody beat the Battery Pack 2003 in term of the application icon links (Program Bar) on Today Screen with the Down Arrow to scroll down the next line of icons.

what i'd really like to have is a launcher w/ the most recent programs... like pull the recent programs from the start menu and put it on the today screen... and it would change accordingly automatically... is there such software that does this?

Actualy the big icons is a greate idea....this way i can start applications while im in my car using my finger. 8O

I guess was happy to fast....

I had a look in the screen shots in handago and saw that i cant specify which icon i can display and which not to :cry: it has all hard coded as it seems.....

I only need about 2-3 large icons for my navigation program and pocketwarrior :roll:

I can specif the icon size wich is greate but i get white backround and would like to have the ppc backround instead.....

so why i do some wardriving so what....... :?

I went ahead and got this having used Spd's and Battery Pack and having problems. Well, sadly, this one also doesn't seem too work right on e740's with EUU3 update installed :cry:

You CAN specify which icons are displayed, and which groups you can switch between. It's not done in preferences, but by using directories filled with short-cuts. Pretty easy to setup what you want (at least from your PC). I liked it - only I can't read anything on my 'Today' screen if I install it. (The Toshiba bug makes foreground and background color of text the same - so it's invisible)

I do not have the background bitmap image set to anything. For me tdLaunch is showing the background of what I got on my Today screen. Also, did you get the version for PocketPC 2002 and not just regular PocketPC? That would make a difference on the Today screen :!:
