Yeah, just a bit pricey...considering I could get a brand new fully loaded desktop for that price. :D

But I can see that card being really important for photographers who are gone for weeks or months at a time without being able to download their pictures onto any computer...

All in good time...in a few years it will probably be at $500, even lower in many more.

I don't think it will take 3 years for this card to be $500. Just wait until Sandisk and Lexar come out with these. It will drive the price down like crazy because of the competition.
