Q. how do I load a skin?
A. Originaly skins were composed of multiple files, each one an image for a button or a numbe or a slider, and all had to be put into their own directory. At some point (no idea when) winamp adopted an archived format, wsz, short for Winamp Skin Zip. It was nothing more then a zip file containing all the files we used to keep in directories. WinamPAQ does not support unzipping yet so you need to open the WSZ files in winzip or winrar (Any program that supports zip will work) and uncompress all the files into a directory, call the directory something based on the skins name.
Now copy that directory over to the PPC someplace. Open up winampaq and goto the skin select, locate the directory the skin files are placed in (only one skin per directory) and then press the bottem right button to load it.
Q. I get crackling when useing the EQlizer.
A. Not sure why this is such a huge problem for only adjusting the meters slightly, but if you move the left most pre amp slider down to abou the third notch from the bottem, it will fix the crackling. you will prolly need to turn up the volume more then usual.
Q. Network support?
A. Apparently .91a included url support for web streaming, but I am unable to stream over file shares (ie explorer). The program itself will not browse over networks, and useing a browser that can, like resco's explorer, does not work because WinamPAQ does not support loading MP3 through arguments, so you can't click on an mp3 in explorer and load it.
