Is the XDA the only available Pocket PC phone? Are there others on the market?

I would be looking for SD and CF slots, but from what I have been reading even the XDA only has a SD slot. Is it even an SDIO slot? Large amount of internal RAM is nice also. Am I asking for to much in a phone? 8O

One thing I have come to accept it the fact that it will not be cheap. At least for now.

Sadly, I think we'll both be waiting for the next-gen PPCPE devices (Sprint is rumoured to be coming out with the Hitachi device in Q1-Q2, 2003). The current devices aren't really designed with power users in mind (no SDIO or expansion of any kind, really) and I'm not willing to void my warranty. Of course, be ready to pay more than you would for a laptop in order to get these things!

Well, there are some alternatives. You could get a PPC with CF slot (toshiba e740 or Dell for example) and get the CF Card phone (from Audiovox).

There has been a HP Jornada WDA, but I believe it was discontinued and it was only available in very limited numbers. Did have a CF slot though (and SD as an option)!
