http://wirelessnewsfactor.com/perl/story/20369.html

Wireless NewsFactor reported a while back that IBM released Mobile Notes to Pocket PC, Palm, Symbian and WAP. I am confident that this is welcome news to many Lotus Notes IT shops and users.

"Designed to meet the changing needs of its massive Lotus Notes audience, IBM's (NYSE: IBM) mobile version of the Notes/Domino software platform delivers Big Blue's well-known business information applications to a broad array of wireless devices. The basic premise of Mobile Notes is that the desktop Notes experience can be tailored for PDA and cell phone users, Carl Kriger, senior product manager for Lotus Mobile and Wireless, told NewsFactor. The software provides real-time access to messaging, calendar, scheduling and other workflow and PIM (personal information management) applications, as well as sales force automation , field service and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, he said."
