Is there a way to change the amount of time you have to hold power button to toggle backlight? I’d like to make it shorter.

If there is it's in the registry somewhere... I don't remember it being included in any of the tweaking programs i've seen though...

Pretty sure it's hardware-specific. Consider getting a today-screen plugin or somesuch equivalent that lets you control the brightness. I use Pocket Plus (http://www.softspb.com/products/pocketplus/index.html) to accomplish this.

Pocket Plus doesn't really do this (I think) but I may end up buying it for other reasons. Currently, I have a shortcut to backlight in my start menu. I haven't found a registry entry that controls this, so I figured it doesn't hurt to ask. It isn't really a big deal anyway...
