http://makeashorterlink.com/?Z10916E03

I'm a big fan of nPOP, the freeware third party POP3 client that does many things Inbox doesn't do. The one thing that annoys me is that it has its own address book, and it doesn't use the Pocket PC contacts database. With the nPOP contacts importer by Wibble-Wobble at least you can get your contacts in the nPOP address book without the hassle of typing them all over again. It's freeware, so grab it if you use nPOP!

Gotta ask... what's with that screenshot? Looks like a bad RF signal.

The screen shot is bad because of the software that I used to grab it with, I will be recreating the screen shot when I get back home.

But, I'm not quick enough to get it before all my contacts are imported...
And, the import doesn't seem to work if nPOP is open.

I've never been able to get nPop to send mail. I can receive it but not send... always get a funky message and I know it is setup right.

And, the import doesn't seem to work if nPOP is open.
This is because when nPOP starts it reads it's address book into memory and when it exits nPOP writes the addresses in memory back to the address book file.

Funny... I just bought a set of utilities from Handango ($1) made by these guys... three small programs that can shut off your PPC, soft reset your PPC, or hard reset your PPC (I like these b/c it saves wear and tear on my power and reset buttons).
They work great (though I haven't tried the hard reset yet... think I'll wait on that ).
The only minor annoyance between those programs and this nPop importer is that they apparently use the same icon on all their stuff.

Point taken, I will sort out a new set of icons for these and re-release them soon.

That could be a relaying problem. Are you using the same ISP on your PPC as on your desktop? If you aren't, that's the problem. If you are, try making sure that nPop receives before sending (if I remember rightly, there is an option to allow you to do that).
