SO I'm due a few bucks. Anywhere between 5 and 29. OOOOHHHHHH!

Let's see, 4 different versions of Windows, Office, Publisher, Money (2), etc, and all I get is barely enough for dinner...eithe MacDs or something a little nicer. Here's a link to the story.

And I'm sure that's not even a dent in the interest Microsoft made off of their working capitol since the case when to trial...

Don't count on that dinner, though.

Under the agreement announced Friday night, proceeds of the settlement will be distributed in the form of vouchers redeemable for computers and software products.

You'll get vouchers for (presumably) Microsoft products.

P.S. Please don't post long links "naked". The board software doesn't wrap them, and it resets the margins for the whole page, forcing horizontal scrolling. Use the URL tags, like this:

See how much nicer that is? :-)

Things to do on Monday:

1) change my name to California.
2) call Bill and check on my check.

Apparently, I guessed incorrectly. Another story I read about this said the vouchers would be good for any hardware and software. I wonder how they'll do this. Will it be like a coupon that a retailer sends to Microsoft, or more like a rebate?

"Similar antitrust class-action lawsuits have been filed in 16 other states. "

Bahahahahahaha. 16 other states. I wonder if they'll all fly like the one in Cali.

Economics-money taken from the greedy, and put back into the hands of the consumers....TO GIVE MORE MONEY TO THE GREEDY!

Microsoft..what were you thinking? Vouchers? Yeahh, thats just not one of your crazy, dynamic business plans, ehh?
