I placed my order on Dec. 30, 2002 for the 128MB RAM upgrade for the iPAQ H3900 Series from Pocket PC Techs
http://www.pocketpctechs.com/detail.asp?Product_ID=I39-064-128RAM. They emailed me detailed instructions, precautions to follow warranty information (once done your regular warranty is void). Then I mailed in my iPAQ H3975 on Mon. Jan. 5, 2003 Next Day Air. I was again emailed early on Wed. Jan. 8. that it arrived Tue and its presently being upgraded and tested. A final email was sent later that same day of its upgrade being finished and working and that it is being shipped out 2nd day service. I received my iPAQ on Fri. Jan. 10 and immediately ran my own tests. Everything ran perfectly without a hitch.
I am very pleased with the service and you can't tell the device was even opened. The fact that they email you every step of the way was great. Although I was lost without my PPC for 5 days it was well worth the wait. Now I can keep more of my EMT and PO files directly in my PPC.
The upgrade for the 3900s is conventional memory so you will get a total of 127.16MB and its all managed by the system just as they said (it's as if you bought it that way). Hats off to Pocket PC Techs. Excellent job and customer service.
I would suggest that anyone who wants to upgrade their PPC check their site first, then search some forums for discount codes to bring the price down some like Pocket PC Passions http://www.pocketpcpassion.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22654
