pc card question

I have an IPAQ 3955. Once in awhile, I put my pc card in, turn on my IPAQ and it asks if I want to reformat the card. Is this normal? I recently had lots of problems with Media Player not finding my playlists so I reformatted the card.

It use to do this much more often before I reformatted. I also recall it doing it a couple of times with my CF card/CF Sleeve.

Do you have the ROM update 1.20? That was one of the bug fixes in the updade. The update can be found on hp's website, www.hp.com

If you are talking about the EUU update, the answer is yes.
