Yep, I too, think it's a little overpriced, but it was mainly designed for physicians, so the market is smaller.

Why not use Calc98

it has more conversions than most will use in a lifetime.

even has periodic table

Because it's still beta quality software. I'm sure everybody will love to test it out once Ian can sort some things out. You'll have to wait another month or two according to his posts.

I've used Conversions in Hand - http://www.burroak.on.ca/cih.html - for years now and it is superior to everything else I have tried - also one of my most used programs...!

What software is beta-quality? If you mean Calc98, it's been out for years and seems pretty good to me. There's some display flicker, the About dialogs are too big (like they were meant for Handheld PCs) and Help gets covered in the menu bar, but it's a free product. :-)

As long as the conversions get done correctly, what's the problem?
