I know they are expensive.....but how expensive are they?

I am talking about a complete set that is not custom build for your home theiter...concert hall...etc etc

but the price of those would be nice

Any guesses?

There is a Century Stereo I frequent near my home in San Jose. They have a Mark Levinson theater set up for demo-ing all kinds of stuff. There was a Mark Levinson DVD changer that connected to the internet and your TV. It would bring up the pictures of the DVD covers for your selection. Very Cool. To get the theater like they have it would cost $1.5M. Yes, M, as in million. But who need fiber optic starts in the ceiling anyway - knock off 10k.

I asked about the Mark Levinson components. The AV receiver alone was $30,000. The large amplifier runs about $12,500. It's all out of my price range.

Is Mark Levinson married to Kim Cattrall?

Series 40 if I am not mistaken goes for about 40K CDN and of course you would need 2, who ever thought of just buying a stereo amp. A man can dream.
