Just stumbled across this press release from SanDisk at Digital Photography Review:

Now I can consider getting a smaller PDA and not miss having WiFi and extra memory...

Too bad the HP 1910 isn't SDIO-- imagine that small form factor, great screen,WiFi and 256MB SD card! (only adding $149, list price, too!)

:D

Sounds great. I've been waiting for an SD WiFi card.

The Wi-Fi (802.11b) CF and SD Connect cards have a suggested retail price of $99.95. The dual-function CF cards with 128MB of capacity will be priced at $129.95 while the dual-function 256MB SD cards will be priced at $149.95. The CF Wi-Fi card is available now, the CF dual-function card and the SD Wi-Fi card will be available in March and the SD dual-function card is expected to ship at mid-year. The CF pricing includes a PC card adapter for notebook and laptop owners. SanDisk Connect cards will be sold in many of the 50,000 retail stores worldwide where SanDisk branded products are sold.
Cute, How much?

My Maestro has an SD slot and a CF slot. I'd rather use the SD for memory and program installs and CF for gizmo expansions.

I'd likely use this card for movies and audio, along with pinging the wild Wi-fi.

Bummer. That's six months away! Still, it should be a boon for (pre-5450) iPaq owners who want to ditch the sleeve and still have access to expanded memory and Wi-Fi at the same time.

I don't like the waiting either. But, I would like to upgrade my Toshiba e310 with memory and wifi at the same time. Now, let's hope there will be a BT+memory dual SD-card soon too!!!

I'm crossing my fingers that the Wi-fi+SD storage will work with my e310, too. Not to mention the storage not going bad on me after 2 days of use? :3
