View Full Version : Thumboard or keyboard?

i decide to buy an external input device for my ppc, but don't know what to buy, either a full size keyboard or thumboard? if keyboard, the wireless one or the normal one, i think this input device thing drives me nuts. what say you :?:

Had a Stowaway I got real cheap for the Jornada 525. Loved the sleekness of pulling out a full sized keyboard. If you've got a place to store it, then it's worth having. But unless you know you'll be typing a lot, in one place, it's really not worth while. You're better off using the soft keyboard.

I hacked my stowaway keyboard by addin a non slip padding to the bottom of the keybaord and the bottom of a book so that in a car or whatever I can set the book on my lap and the keyboard on top of that without it slipping. Although, it is kinda hard if you don't have a free seat next to you... Or if you need your padded book open while typing (which is why my math book is the padded one).
