PPC advancement

Well, I have been looking at the PPC market for some time now, and i still havent found the perfect one. This Dell Axim seems to be a sound devise, but I just cant decide between this and other devises. What are the next generation of PPC devises going to bring? I just dont want to shell 300+ cash and within a few months have to do so again. When I finally do buy one, I will use it for a variety of things. (Mp3, Picture viewer, PIM, maby internet, gaming) so I will want a machine that can do all of these.

I think you may have the wrong idea of the pocket pc market. Short of internet, all pocket pc's can do all of that. Any pocket pc can sync webpages / content at the desktop and carry it. The X7 is most likely coming soon with wireless, and the X3 with smaller form. Still, these aren't something you replace every few months if you don't want to. Many here have had theirs for years and are still perfectly happy.

They all do all that now. Pick one, buy it. Or wait three months cuz better ones will be out. Then pick one, buy it. Or wait another three months cuz the prices will drop. Then pick one, buy it; or wait another three months, cuz better ones will be out.

That's right. "Best deal" is a relative term. You can wait forever for the next best thing. There are no winners. Only users.

At some point we all need to stop reading reviews and make the jump to experience PPC.

Get a dell. Not much if anything out there faster or cheaper so it is a very safe bet. You can get one for $349 plus a $50 rebate from dell or one for $299 straight up (rebate already done by them) by Palmyes.com
