OK, OK, OK
SLOW DOWN 8O
I read the article. What I don't understand is are they talking about the current CE.NET or the upcoming Pocket PC 2003? Those features look great, but is this actually an OS or a development tool for business PPCs? (www.symbol.com)
I'm not a developer so I'm not into this .NET language and development.

From the sounds of it this is the new OS for Pocket PCs. Windows .net. It would be called Windows CE 4.0 but Microsoft is tying all its stuff together in this .NET thing. It sound great though huh. IE 5.5, Landscape mode, skinning...Its awesome I cant wait. Jeff

Both, each Pocket PC is basically a shell for the kernal. Both Pocket PC 2002 and Windows CE 3.0 use the CE 3.0 kernal. With CE .NET there can be a new basis for the next PPC OS.

So, Pocket PC is the set of bulit in applications that run on WinCE 3.0.

Ya, those are things that comprise it and make it unique, but in furthur detail it is the graphic files (API) and a few other innerworkings that make it a Pocket PC.
