:?:
Has anyone tried using an Ipaq EEU for the Maestro? I'm not very optimistic about Audiovox or Toshiba supplying one :(

Thanks,

[Will]

Sure, works, did mine, at your own risk. :D

Did it, WMP asked me to reset the device.
Did the soft reset and I lost all my data, machine did a full reset, tried again and again a full reset, since then it worked perfectly.
So first two times when I reset I lost my data(do a backup first).

Worked fine, I lost no data and got the new Windows Media Player.

Do at your own risk.

The HP Ipaq EUU3 upgrade is not actually a HP Ipaq upgrade, it's just the STANDARD Microsoft one. This means that this upgrade will work on ANY Pocket PC. It worked fine on my e310 as well.

I updated with IPAQ release and it work fine for me. Its best to backup and do a hard reset first before you installed the EEU update. This works for me ... Doing this you will not jeopardize your data.

But what is an EEU?

But what is an EEU?

EUU: End User Upgrade. EUU3 upgrades your OS (some bugfixes), gets you a new theme and an upgraded WMP

Thanks (ECOslin, Fishie,Delta 737, hgwte, and e335... )for answering. And  it's EUU, and not EEU. An EEU would be an End....ehh... nevermind.

Now I can confidently upgrade : )
