What would you reccommend? I wouldve bought the 3970, but it was not available in my area so what is better an SD bluetooth card or the CF/Bluetooth sleeve?
P.S. What USB bluetooth adapter is a good choice?

I had the Compaq BT Sleeve. Personally - I would not recommend it!
Get a CF+ sleeve (which has an extra battery) and get a CF BT Card. It will cost you the same amount of $$ (or even cheaper) + you get an extra battery for your iPAQ and a sleeve with a screen cover.
The SD slot on the 3800 series is not a true SDIO slot. Instead, it's more of a "SD memory card reader." Because of this, I'm not sure that an SD Bluetooth card would work at all. I'd check that out before I spent any money in that direction.

The SD card slot on the 3900 series supports IO. So mtb3955 could get the SD blutooth card.

The 3900 does support SDIO cards, BUT, the iPAQ needs to use a set of drivers to get these cards working - which HP/Compaq has never released. So any SDIO card you will get will not work on the iPAQ.

bdeli,
Wow! Really?!
That is a real eye-opener. I have not tried to use any CF device that required SDIO yet, but it sounds like I'd be in for a rude awakening if I had!

MultiMatt,
You can get the details from here:

--------------
NOTE: * = SD Expansion slot supports SD or MMC memory cards. Use of SDIO (SD Input/Output) cards will require installation of driver software to utilize the cards. See http://www.compaq.com/handhelds for list of latest tested SD cards.

if i were you i will get the 3970 anyhow instead getting add on for bluetooth, i tried many bluetooth add on for the ipaq, but the best is still the 3970 with built in bluetooth, if 3870, don't count on it's bluetooth, gotta soft reset every time you wan't to use the bluetooth, so does the tdk bluepaq, thats my two cent
