:?: I set my inbox to store attachments on a storage card and it created a folder called "SD-MMCard" on my device and renamed the actual card "SD-MMCard2". The net result is that icons to launch software on the SD card no longer work. I have deleted the folder without success and tried to rename the SD card but this is not possible. Any ideas?

Try removing the card, soft-resetting, and then reinserting the card. Sometimes the OS gets confused.

If that doesn't work, a registry edit may be in order, but it's a little perplexing why it would happen by itself.

Janak,

It is not done spontaneous. It is because in a soft-reset the SD-card is not initialized fast enough (because of Large CF-card/drivers etc), and some app's (outlook and PIE) want to access it. As a precaution, the Loox creates a new Dir with the same name as the SD card when it sees it's used, but not available. See http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6672&highlight=

Thanks Jaap. Everyone please use his link to the other topic to discuss it further. I'm locking this thread, since it's LOOX-specific.
