How to browse my notebook files from my Axim X5?

I can browse the files of my Axim from my notebook, but how to do the same thing vice versa? Under File Explorer on my Axim, I tried to open my notebook's path with \\notebookname but I got two error screens saying "The network path was not found" and "Network resource cannot be found or you do not have permission to access the network. Contact your network adminstrator." I connect the Axim to the notebook thru USB connection. My notebook is running Windows XP Home.

What operating system are you running on your Notebook? Win98, W2k or XP ... or ???

The first gotcha is that network browsing from the PPC does not work from the cradle via an ActiveSync connection. You must have the PPC connected to the network directly, via a network card, a wireless card, a modem, etc.

This is not an AXIM thing but a PPC2002 OS thing.
