Is SD a lot slower than CF? It took 22 min to copy 120 mb to a SD card....Is this normal?

It really depends on your device - some devices have a 1-bit path for SD, others (like the 3900 series iPAQ) have a 4-bit path, which is way more bandwidth. SD in general does seem a little slower than CF though, no matter what device you use.

I was transfering the files using a card reader. I thought it would be faster this way as opposed to using Active Sync---Explore

I purchased a PNY 6 card reader with USB 2.0, it's lightning fast. :D

That's really strange. Copying through ActiveSync is even faster than that with me. A card reader should have been much faster! Perhaps a broken reader or broken card!?
