I am interested in finding out how many 3800/3900 owners use the strong alpha password vs. the 4 digit vs. no password.

Why ask only 3800/3900 users?

I happen to use an iPAQ 3870 with the strong alpha password. I wish it wasn't quite so strong, though. On my iPAQ 3650, I had downloaded the Password Power Toy, which allowed alphanumeric passwords, but it was a bit looser than the Pocket PC 2002 version.

If I recall correctly, the Pocket PC 2002 requires at least one uppercase and one lowercase character (which is annoying), one number (which I already had) and at least 7 characters (my 3650 password was only 6). So I had to change my habits for this.

If (when?) I get the iPAQ 5450, I'll use the strong alpha OR fingerprint setting so I can access my Pocket PC faster. I'll also set the downtime to zero so that nobody can turn my Pocket PC on once it's off without a password. Right now, I use one hour because having to type a password every power cycle is a bit more annoying than I like.

I have an e310 (I'm sorry I skewed your poll results) and I use the simple 4-digit password. I like to have the ability to secure my devices without having the annoyance of the password "requirments" that the strong password imposes on you.
