I'm hand-loading a program on my Maestro(the autoinstaller failed) and I see two cab files. One is Arm 1100, the other is Arm 720T. Are there two Strongarm processor types? Is there a list of which PDA has which type?

StrongARM is Intels brand of ARM. The 720T is an older, slower ARM CPU not associated with Intel. I believe it is a 133Mhz chip. All of the current PPCs use either StrongARM, Intels 206Mhz ARMv4 chip or Xscale which is Intels 200-400Mhz ARMv5 chip.
Porgrams made for the StrongARM should work on the Xscale with no problems. I have not experienced any problems myself, but I have heard others say that they have. No examples were provided.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
