I've recently purchased a Viewsonic V35, but can you access the internet with a Pocket PC that only has an SD slot?

Using my cellphone as a modem isn't an option, I have a Motorola 120t & AT&T Wireless service.

If I can't find some solution with the V35 I'm thinking of switching to the Axim because I don't want to have to buy a new unit in a year, due to the one I have not being expandable enough.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

The SD slot in the Viewsonic is SD/IO, which means it accepts Input/Output cards as well as memory cards. So far not too many SD/IO cards are out there. Socket (http:///www.socketcom.com) is almost done working on a SD Bluetooth card that you could use to connect to a Bluetooth enabled phone, or to a Bluetooth accesspoint that you hook up to your desktop. There's also talk about SD/IO WiFi (802.11b) cards, but I've not seen any near completion yet.

The Axim has CF type II, which means it would accept the current range of Bluetooth, WiFi, 56k6 dial-up modems out there and a SD slot. The SD slot on the Axim does not accept Input/Output cards though, it's a memory only slot.
