I am literally pulling my hair out with this new Toshiba.
This is what I am doing:
I have the Linksys 4 Port Switch + Wireless AP sitting RIGHT NEXT to my pocket PC. The Toshiba's card IS READING the AP and can ever be assigned an IP address (a working one--192.168.1.3), which doesn't conflict with any computers on the network or anything. I use DHCP.
Now, no matter what I do, it can scan the router, it can connect to the router, but I CANNOT get online. It always says that the page cannot be found or the settings are not letting it connect.
I went and checked my admin page (192.168.1.1, the standard for people with Linksys routers) and I found three DNS codes. I went and put them into my Toshiba. Still no luck. WHAT am I doing wrong here?
The device can SEE it...and it CONNECT to it...but I can't ping it from the desktop no matter what I do. The toshiba CAN ping the desktop, the desktop, however, cannot ping the e740.
Is the card broken?
