For those of you celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ, I wish you all a very joyous, peaceful, and relaxing evening and day tomorrow. If you have a computer and an Internet connection, you're better off than most of the people on this planet - count your blessings and be thankful for what you have.

Enjoy the time you have with family and friends, sitting by the crackling fire playing games on your Pocket PC. We won't be posting anything until the 26th, because this is the time of year best spent with the people you love, not your computer. Although, truthfully, I'm sure I'll check my email at least once in there.

Merry Christmas to you as well. And Jason, Happy Boxing Day!

I grew up in Canada and was told this definition of Boxing Day: Chirstmas is time to spend with your family and the day after Christmas is when one would spend time bring "Boxed" gifts to friends and relatives.

Jason and the rest of the team

I agree completely. For most of this year, once I have had web access, I have checked PPCthoughts at least once a day. The only other web site I do this with is CNN.

Thank you all for your wonderful work. Merry Christmas, and a happy, successful new year to you all.

Why is it called boxing day?

Jason, thank you for a great site. I usually check Pocket PC Thoughts several times a day. It is, and has always been, a great place to find information, suggestions, advice, and humor. After opening the presents and the turkey dinner, we will settle into a high-tech Christmas. The kids will play their video games together, and I'll sit in the room with them, reading on my PDA. It is a great season, and we are all very lucky.

Just finished putting my son's motorized jeep together (more screws and stickers than a little bit) so that explains why I'm posting this so early in the morning. I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope all your gadget dreams come true.

Merry Christmas PPC thoughts readers!
The only thing i got for Christmas was this Axim X5 :(
No CF-Card, no wireless CF-Card. But hell, im still happy and grateful for it!
To be honest, my computer, pda, and technology are as important as my family. Sadly but true, I dont get out much.

Have a happy New Years! (in like 6 days dudes)

And in keeping with what Abba Zabba said, a little :drinking: is ok, but not too much. You'll start to feel :Fade-color, wind up  and then looking for :morning: and hope that :x-mas: doesn't come and take his presents back.

Just a footnote, before it's all over: we here in the Northeast of the US got a true White Christmas. So white, in fact, that my sister and I were shoveling snow for an hour and a half tonight, and it's still snowing. Apparently it's the most snow in NY we've had fall on a Christmas day since 1909, and the first snowfall since 1969.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled night of sleep... ;)

A day late, but the sentiment is just as strong...

I am still all smiles from watching 24 hours of "A Christmas Story," my probably all-time favorite movie, in between family and friend visits.

But anyway...

Merry Christmas, y'all...
