The native file format for Media Player video is wmv. You can creat wmvs that play fine on your PPC using the free Windows Media Encoder. Check it out at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/wm7/encoder.asp This works very well if you have home movies or other clips that you wish to convert.

There are of course other options, with other players available.
