View Full Version : Datebk5+ on Pocket PC?

My friend just purchased an ipaq h1910 and I was so impressed by the display, I want to replace my palm m130.

However, the datebk5+ program on palm is way better than outlook for floating events (items on the calendar which float foward if not completed). Floating events are kinda like to-do items on a specific day.

Also, I really like the ease of moving events +7 days with a single click, and +/-1 days too.

Any add-ins or solution to improve outlook?

Thanks,
-Mike

The same one everyone has: either Pocket Informant (www.pocketinformant.com) or Agenda Fusion (http://www.developerone.com/pocketpc/fusion/). These are the DateBk+'s of the PPC world.

Agenda Fusion looks as detailed as Datebk5+

I downloaded its manual and will go through it.

Thanks for a great tip!

I used to use Action Names on Palm and tried both Agenda Fusion and Pocket Informant when I got my PPC. Ended up with PI and LOVE it!

It's the great AF vs. PI debate but just thought I'd throw my two cents in! Merry Christmas!

I highly recommend you look at both AgendaFusion and PocketInformant (as mentioned by Janak above).

PI is cheaper at the moment and sports what many people feel is a more attractive interface. AF is viewed as slightly faster (especially when storing several thousands of contacts).

...although 3.45 makes the two very, very close performancewise. It's much faster than 3.4.

The UI's are still quite a bit different. PI tends to be a bit more "customized", while AF feels more like Pocket Outlook, IMHO.

Both programs are excellent, imo it's a matter of personal choice. I like Agenda Fusion better, mainly because of how the interface looks. The PI interface works just as well for me, but it's just preference.
