T-Mobile Update and Speeds

Anyone care to share their speeds with the latest T-mobile update? I saw some other posts that people were getting upwards of 50Kbps. I don't see anything close to that in my area.

Please share your speeds and signal strength readings.

the upgrade has made a big difference

someone mentioned the screen taps being more responsive and i have to agree -- mine is a little quicker.

connection speeds are also faster (20k) when previously i was getting 1-2k in my home.

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS... SETTING COMPRESSION TO ON WORKS!!!

under connection settings->internet->advanced you can set header and compression. previously setting these to ON, prevented me from being able to connect. i havent tested speeds but i can now connect with them on and it should be faster (at least it used to be back in my modem days).

i have to say the upgrade was worth the wait -- i like my TMo PPCPE much more!

Great! I am glad that you enjoy it more now. However; have you notice that it still didn't fix the ability to check for e-mail at set given intervals? This is still very important for me and I was hoping for it to be updated during this upgrade. I suppose we'll have to wait again.

I will try the compression, but I my speeds are more like 400-600 bps. I have seen it get to 2Kbps, but that is rare.
