PocketPC with an IR modem?

I'm just making the switch to Pocket PC (just got an Axim) & I'm trying to find out if I can use my Psion IR modem (same as the Diamond Mako modem) to connect to the internet. At the moment the only data storage card I've got is a CF card, so I'd rather not tie up the slot (or spend the extra $) and buy a CF modem unless the IR modem is not compatible.

yes you can! All Pocket PCs and even Palm OS units have the ability to dial into IR Modems, so this will work! I just sold mine to somebody else actually, or I would ask you if you are interested...sorry ;).
