Just received my new Axim to possible replace my 3835 IPAQ. Comparing the two side by side with screen brightess set on max, well the Axim is much . much , much better than my IPAQ, the colors much better too.
Also sound out of speaker is much better on the Axim, clearer not as much static, not quite as loud though.
As far as size, well I've heard the Axim refered to as a brick, well maybe compared to the 1910 HP but compared to my IPAQ with expansion pak plus well the Axim is a real jewel, much small and lighter that the IPAQ.
Received it yesterday (Dell does'nt spend much on packaging, comes in plain brown cardboard box) installed with zero problems on my Windows XP Gateway, took it to work today and also sync it with my Windows 2000 machine , no problems at all. Very impressive Pocket PC. The IPAQ goes on EBAY ASAP...
