Hi ppl,
I have a T-MObile PPC phone. When I open up Internet Explorer and start browsing web sites, the images at the web sites do not load up. I tried www.excite.com and nothing loads up but for some indicators where pictures should have been. Is it because, these sites are not designed for PPC or is it some option I need to modify in my PPC. I am using T-Mobile's data plan to log on to the Internet. Thanks for your help.

Do you have your phone enabled to view graphics when browsing? There is a button that you can push to either disable or enable graphics when browsing thus saving you money. To toggle the "button" do the following:
-Load IE on your PPCPE
-Look at the very last button to the right at the very bottom of IE
-There is an "X" in the top left hand corner of this button
-If toggled "off" the button will have a white background and all of your graphics will be turned off.
-To turn them on, tap this button again and your graphics will appear.
Take care,

Hello Monty,
Thank you so much. Its working!! But I have another problem now. I am not able to log in to my excite mail cos it says that I need to have cookies and javascript enabled. Well , The cookies are turned on in the advanced options but how do you turn java script on. Do I need to download and install it?
Thanks again.

While the Pocket IE does support some (JScript), it does not support full Java; unfortunately. Here is a thread at PocketPCPassion.com that some have started about this issue. Sorry for the information:

Yeah, thats too bad that Pocket IE does not support full Java. Anybody knows any third party web browser that supports both the following functionalities,
1) Full support for Java web pages
2) Supports multiple web windows and a way to toggle between them.
The Multi IE 2.0 supports the second option, but I would prefer one with both.
Thanks
