Microsoft Outlook 2000 --> Axim inbox synchronization -- what's going on?

Ok, this is a problem. I want my email on my device. I tried Syncexpress, but could not get it to work properly. So, now I am trying to get Outlook 2000 to sync my inbox, but it isn't working. A message saying, "Unable to connect to mobile device. This version of CE Inbox Transfer will not function correctly with this device." I did not install Outllook from the Dell CD. Can anyone help me, or even offer help with syncexpress?

I'm having the same problem & I have ActiveSync installed.

Yes, Activesync is installed, and I haven't had any other problems with it. My contacts, tasks, etc. sync fine. So, what's the problem . . . ?
