Got my axim today!!. Ordered it on Dec 13th!! Less than a week :D :D wow!!!
Also, I have an ActiveSync 3.5 installed on my computer. Do I have to unintall it and start from the scratch?

You don't have to uninstall ActiveSync. Just install it over the copy on your hard drive to install the Dell driver. It won't overwrite other drivers, files or partnerships on your PC.
