I just saw this picture when reading an excellent Paul Thurrot article about the upcoming new Plus pack for Windows XP:

Check out the reference they make to the PocketPC 2003

So can we guess that the next version will be called (Surprise) PocketPC 2003?

I'm bettin' its gonna be PPC.net
Microsoft pushing for the whole uniform thing... .net everything.
Hope it fits on 48 mb flash rom 8O. How much would it cost anyone know? Would it be free? 8)

Don't know about that. There already is a Windows CE .NET, so perhaps it will be PPC 2003 after all
