I have been coming to this site for only a few months (coming from PDABuzz.com) and I guess that what I initially saw was the "2.0" site. Currently, the site is now "3.0". I was wondering: what did the old "1.0" site look like? Does anybody have any screenshots? How different was is from the "2.0" site?

See here (http://web.archive.org/web/20010124083000/http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/index.html).
The 1.0 site had a similar frontend to the 2.0 site, but the backend was minimal.
What I don't know is if there was a pre-1.0 site...

That's great! Now I know just how far we've come with this site! There's just one thing, though: I didn't see any way to reply to the stories. Was there a forum way back when?

Later on (guess that was version 1.5) we did have a comment function. You can see here (http://web.archive.org/web/20010517135031/www.pocketpcthoughts.com/archives/00000944.html) what that looked like. For those interested: the backend of the old system was Greymatter (http://www.noahgrey.com/greysoft/), blogging software created by Noah Grey (http://www.noahgrey.com/).

You know what I would love to see again: Jason's original post in the newsgroups about "Pocket PC Thoughts"...
Anyone have a copy?
