If your battery dies, not only can you lose data, but you can't use it again until you connect it to some kind of charger. Now this has happened to me many times. Let's say that I am in my car and looking up a place on my Pocket Streets, and the battery dies. Not only am I lost, but now I have a dead Pocket PC, and I know that if it had juice, I could get "un-lost". If you are a big user of these devices, I feel that you need to have multiple ways of charging them. Just the other day on the way to my monthly Pocket PC User Group Meeting, I remembered that my iPAQ was close to drained. I went to grab my charger that I thought I had in my car. Well it turned out that I had half of it.

You know the kind that has the USB charger and sync cable in one that plugs into a cigarette lighter module? Well the sync cable was at home hooked up to my computer because I was installing something on my device. So there I was with a dead iPAQ going to my Pocket PC User Group Meeting. Showing up to a meeting like that is like showing up to the Daytona 500 without your race car, or showing up to a basketball game without your sneakers. Just then I remembered that I had the Seidio 2 in 1 charger in my bag to show off at the meeting, so I plugged it in and after my drive from Wisconsin to Minnesota for the meeting, my iPAQ was charged."
